Pete Townsend appeared on the Late Show with David Letterman and brought a special guest along. Paul Shaffer was there for Pete, but Ed Vedder wowed us all with his unrehearsed duet with Pete. At first, Eddie seemed a little timid and awed in the presence of his idol, but he slipped into it and soon was his old self. Here are the two songs performed that memorable night in New York.
